Membership Recruitment & Retention
The fundamental WAM, LLC philosophy is to
service the members. WAM, LLC realizes that in order for an
organization to keep its members, the members must feel satisfied,
gratified, and know that special service and immediate assistance
is always available just by picking up the phone and placing a call.
WAM, LLC’s social, yet professional, attitude along with an
unparalleled work ethic, will help an organization meet its membership
goals. In fact, WAM, LLC has a staff-person
specifically responsible for the growth of the membership in its organizations.
WAM, LLC will support and work with your organization’s Membership
Committee in developing and implementing aggressive membership drives.
It will also receive and process inquiries relating to prospective
membership, in addition to maintaining the centralized membership
database and the website membership roster.
It is important to sustain an effective system of member satisfaction
each year so the member renews his or her membership. When a
new member joins, your WAM Staff will send a new-member orientation
kit within the first week, and place a “welcome” phone
call to that member within two weeks. Likewise, the new member
will receive special e-mails or even a phone call to foster participation
in upcoming meetings and events. By establishing these key relationships
and getting a member involved from the very beginning, that same
individual will perceive value, refer your organization to his
or her associates, or even become a future leader of the organization
itself.
